The Closing Agent Receives The 2020 ‘Our Values’ Award From The American Land Title Association

Orlando, FL – At this year’s virtual American Land Title Association (ALTA ) conference The Closing Agent was awarded the “2020 ALTA Our Values” award. ALTA is the trade organization of the title insurance industry with over 6,000 members throughout the nation. The Closing Agent was recognized as the first recipient of this award which showcases a title company that exemplifies how to lead, deliver and protect buyers of real estate in the best possible ways.
Barry L. Miller, Esq., President & CEO of The Closing Agent shared his delight at the recognition. “I have always been very proud of the team we have at The Closing Agent and how so many individuals go out of their way to give back to the community. I believe it is part of what makes us stand out as a title company. Our team passionately cares about the people around us who keep Central Florida moving.”
From The Red Cross to the Bcenter which is dedicated to providing alternative recovery resources, hope and direction to stroke survivors and their caregivers, The Closing Agent staff have long been volunteering their time to charitable organizations. Mr. Miller himself created The Barry Miller Foundation for Arts & Education which provides financial support for ongoing initiatives in Central Florida arts and education. After the tragic events at Pulse, Mr. Miller also established The 49 Fund which awards scholarships to Central Florida LGBTQ students who have demonstrated a commitment to serving their community, to leadership and to personal and professional development. His commitment to serving the community also extends to CFGALLA (Central Florida Gay & Lesbian Law Association) where Mr. Miller serves as President alongside Christian Walters who serves as Treasurer. Mr. Walters also volunteers time to the Orlando Youth Alliance and is an Advisory Board Member on the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks and Recreation department. The City of Orlando’s Chapter 57 review board meanwhile counts Robert Garcia as a board member.
