Community Involvement

The Orlando International Fringe Festival is known as Orlando’s most unique cultural experience. The 14-day festival provides an accessible, affordable outlet that unifies the Orlando community and inspires creative excellence through the arts. Year after year, The Closing Agent, Inc. proudly supports the festival promoting the arts across Central Florida. During the 14-day festival, The Closing Agent team regularly attends the several different events to support the artistic endeavors of the city. The Closing Agent’s President Barry L. Miller even served on the Board of Directors and as  President of the festival from 2007 to 2010 and also launched and funded a matching grant campaign that raised over of $20,000 in 2013.

The team at The Closing Agent, Inc. proudly participates in the Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka, Florida, Inc. Habitat for Humanity dedicates itself to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes. The organization regularly builds homes and advocates for those seeking a durable living arrangement for their safety and shelter. More importantly, Habit for Humanity exemplifies the idea that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. The Closing Agent, Inc supports these efforts through volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka, Florida and actively participating in the non-profit’s community events and programs.

The Closing Agent, Inc. regularly participates in programs and events supporting the real estate industry of Central Florida. The Closing Agent team strives to provide the very best for its clients and improve the residential and commercial real estate communities as a result. The Closing Agent, Inc. actively conducts educational information sessions and learning opportunities that directly benefit real estate agents and brokers. More importantly, The Closing Agent, Inc. strives to advocate for the growth and support of the real estate industry among clients and additional community partners. The Closing Agent team of attorneys, title insurance specialists and closing experts continue to support the growth and development of the real estate industry in Central Florida.

The Closing Agent, Inc President Barry L. Miller continues to proudly serve as an advocate and supporter for the Arts Community in Central Florida. The Closing Agent, Inc supports The Orlando International Fringe Festival each year by sponsoring events and programs for the iconic community festival. In 2013, The Barry L. Miller Foundation for Arts and Education was established to identify grant opportunities, provide financial support for scholarships and quality programming to individuals, artists, students, educational institutions, community groups, theatre companies and other artistic endeavors. The Foundation has donated over $10,000 to artistic programs and events to support the Arts Community in Central Florida since 2013.

The Closing Agent, Inc. prides itself on establishing and practicing a record of tolerance, inclusivity and acceptance in the workplace. As a result, The Closing Agent, Inc. is a proud member of the Metropolitan Business Association (MBA) LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Orlando. The organization promotes diversity and business equality for the LGBT community in Orlando. This is achieved through different events and initiatives that all seek to solidify the relationships between the Orlando Business Community and the LGBT community of Central Florida. As a proud member, The Closing Agent, Inc. supports the business association and builds relationships and partnerships with fellow association members.

Global Stroke Resource and the “Bcenter” is dedicated to bringing hope to stroke survivors worldwide providing treatment resources, hope and direction. Their mission is to educate, empower and light the path to recovery. The team at The Closing Agent, Inc. proudly participates in the Bcenter in Winter Park Florida serving the Greater Orlando area. The Closing Agent, Inc supports these efforts through volunteering with the Bcenter and actively participates in the non-profit’s community events and programs.
